Experiences My primary vocation is in social work, teaching independent living skills to people with various disabilities. I instruct them in social and organizational skills. I also taught conversational and written English to ex-patriot professionals and their families for four years with Berlitz International. I also received regular training on teaching strategies and instruction. My primary areas of teaching focused on reading, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and sentence structure. Tutoring has enabled me to bring out the best in each person, regardless of age and learning style. My students improved significantly in both fluency and comprehension after only a few sessions. I am confident that those I tutor will develop excellent organizational skills and improve their English speaking and writing skills.
